Ecole Lémania offers international students a full immersion programme in French or English, combining intensive language learning, high-quality academic teaching and boarding school life in an international, safe and stimulating environment.

This programme is designed for students wishing to experience a genuine exchange year in Switzerland while continuing their schooling at one of Lausanne’s most highly regarded private schools.

A complete language immersion

Intensive Language Courses

08:20 – 12:00

Intensive French (FLE) or Intensive English (EFL). Classes are taught in small groups, tailored to each student’s level, to quickly develop listening comprehension, speaking, reading and writing skills.

Academic Programme

13:10 – 16:00

Students continue their education with subjects such as mathematics, sciences, languages and other general subjects. Classes are taught in French or English depending on the student’s language level, encouraging gradual immersion and strong academic achievement

Full-board boarding school

Students reside at Ecole Lémania’s boarding school, located on the Lausanne campus, and benefit from daily support provided by an experienced team.

The programme includes:

  • Accommodation in a standard double room (2 people).
  • Full board (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner, beverages).
  • 24-hour supervision and support.
  • Educational guidance and day-to-day support.
  • Laundry and ironing service.
  • Access to the school’s facilities.
  • Sports and cultural activities, and organised weekend excursions.
  • A multicultural environment fostering exchange among students of many nationalities.
