Secondary Studies

The Secondary Studies section corresponds to compulsory schooling in Switzerland for pupils of 10 and up (5th school year).

Secondary studies
A basic 4-year cycle brings all pupils up to standard before they choose their specialisation at the end of the 8th year, so this does not simply provide proof of the pupil’s level, but also highlights his or her potential.

After the basic cycle, the pupil follows the 9th year class selected (apprenticeship or higher studies). The personalised approach to this choice of specialisation, developed by the Ecole Lémania, supports the success of very different pupils in both their innate aptitudes and in their motivation.

This programme is taught in French only.
