French Baccalaureate

The baccalaureate diploma, awarded on completion of secondary studies, is a tempting alternative to Swiss Federal Maturité, of an equivalent level of studies (Secondary II).  It takes from 1 to 3 years (according to previous studies), the French Baccalaureate syllabus seeks to make the most of the candidates’ personal aptitudes (choice of languages studied and a choice between the Economics, Sociology and Law stream and the Philosophy, Letters and Languages stream.  Finally, the French Baccalaureate is a diploma recognised the whole world over and which benefits from both the influence of French cultural policy and its complete recognition by the European Union.
